It was same earlier. Either they changed mcc or points are delayed but I believe it's earlier as IDFC has publicly told they were blocked.

For me, it's categorized as a Credit card bill payment. I checked earlier, it was also a credit card bill category in the transaction history

Hey guys, I am looking for a better alternative. I was using an SBI virtual card debit card for the credit card bills payment, but now since they are not giving the option to redeem those reward points for paying the credit card bill again, I'm looking for some another alternative.

I was planning to apply for the IDFC debit card, but seeing the current conversations, I am not sure if that option is still working or not. Like using it on PhonePe using the IDFC debit card.

Kindly confirm, is it worth applying for the IDFC debit card now, or is there any alternative for the credit card bill payments to get the rewards?
