LIC owns 51% of IDBI so technically its privatized now but LIC management is worse than any PSU management.
LIC will eventually sell it off to some corporate and then the bank will perhaps get professional. As of now its best avoided.

Lic is also a PSU so indirectly idbi is still a psu

This BSDA packed in sabka savings account packege only 4 debit transactions allowed (including online offline both) in a month after that 17 rupees per transaction is charged

My IDBI Youth Account is good in this sense which I opened years ago. No limitations. Rupay Platinum Debit Card.

irrespective of private or public as long as it is under a regulatory authority or registered with mca
