With your current lineup (Axis Atlas and DCBM) and annual spend of 7-8 lakhs, plus limited travel, the HSBC TravelOne card can be a good addition if you want focused travel rewards and benefits. The new multiplier boost makes it attractive for earning more on spends. Check the Joining and Annual fee before thinking of addition.

Is this an AI generated response?

Cause I don't see what logic is being employed here while giving the suggestion.

OP has clearly mentioned he already owns 2 seriously good travel oriented cards while having barely 8L annual spends. On top of it , he's mentioned that he travels barely twice a year. Why are you suggesting him to take a third travel card , that too one which shines only for travel oriented spends ?

With his spends , axis Atlas already does a good job , and id suggest sbi cashback or something more relevant to his actual spends.

The advice you have given is bad .

You’re right that Axis Atlas and DCBM are strong travel cards he is already holding, especially given his spends and limited travel frequency. However, based on HSBC recently introduced a reward multiplier on the TravelOne card, which enhances rewards on a wider range of spends beyond just travel. This new multiplier can make the HSBC card more rewarding for everyday spends, not just travel bookings. The HSBC card’s updated rewards structure could provide incremental benefits..

Again, this sounds like an AI answer .

The topic is not whether hsbc T1 is better than Atlas or Dcbm, it's whether the card would suit OP's scenario.

Based on your answers , i can clearly understand you neither read things properly and that you use AI to respond.

I am not ranking cards here. I am answering fit for members scenario (Atlas + DCBM, 7-8L/yr, 1-2 trips). As per his question, I replied my opinion, HSBC TravelOne after the multiplier is a nice to have for both Airlines and non travel spends, compared to incremental gain over Atlas/DCBM is small. Difference of opinions are fine, this is mine based on the numbers member shared.

This is bad advice . Not a difference of opinion.

You are suggesting OP to take a 3rd ( assuming dcb was also paid ) travel card for just 8L spends which is suitable for a single dedicated travel card, for maybe one trip redemption or two a year.

That's bad advice. If the question was whether T1 or Atlas or dcb would be good while having cashback cards or lower tier travel cards , id agree with your assessment. Suggesting to take a 3rd travel card while having 2 already, for such a low spend , that's bad advice.

I'm just calling out bad advice. If it hurts your feelings, can't help it.

Fair enough, I think differently but no point stretching this further. Let's move on👍🏻

As per your requirement, there are few thing to note.
First of all i don't know if one of them/ both are LTF or paid cards, based on that scenarios changed.
My personal experience is that Atlas is good for at-least spend of 7.5L per annum to get 2nd year onwards benefit. And you can only target Accor or ITC for best redeem value.
DCBM is mostly good for spending towards monthly quota of 10k points using 5x/10x categories. But disadvantage is you can redeem upto 70% of flight/hotel values.
So you may replace Atlas with hsbc travel one if DCBM is free. Alternatively hsbc travel one allows upto 100% of flight/hotel redeem and transfer to limited partners.
