Is opening HSBC bank account helpful to get a pre-approved credit card for self-employed individual?

It helps to a greater extent. Seen few people doing that eventually getting credit cards but Platinum one though

Platinum card can be flipped to Live+ later on through customer care.

I've applied for HSBC travelone CC on 30th aug received appl form and vkyc link, When I attempted to complete vkyc they said that my applic was not yet processed till vkyc and they said they'll call and inform once the applic is processed and asked me to do vkyc after that,

I Uploaded paydlips and bank statements

Now the link was expired and I didn't receive any update from HSBC
Have u guys ever faced this?
What steps should i take now
