HSBC Bank Goes Live for RuPay Credit Card UPI — Without Having One Yet! 👀

TF Premier
🚨 HSBC Bank is now live for RuPay Credit Card UPI linking — but wait, they don’t even have a RuPay Credit Card yet? 👀

This strongly hints that HSBC is planning to launch a RuPay Credit Card soon.

🔍 Possible formats could be:
  • A virtual-only RuPay Credit Card
  • A co-branded RuPay Credit Card
  • A full-fledged HSBC-issued RuPay variant
💳 Why does this matter?
Because RuPay Credit Card on UPI = instant payments + reward points — and banks are rapidly joining the UPI+Credit trend.

📲 They’re already live on all major UPI apps, even before the card itself is available publicly!

📌 Current status:
The card isn't launched yet — only backend integration is live. But that’s a strong signal something is brewing. 🔧

💡 Stay tuned.
I’ll keep this thread updated with any launch news, official announcements, or early access info.

Tumhare paas kitne RuPay credit cards hai?

And Ye Kichad and HSBC bechara kaise hai?

@Abhishek012
HSBC bechare ko bhi kichad mein utarna pada 😑
HSBC is one of the first banks that started NPCI/RuPay cards in India.

HSBC Bank holds a significant shareholding in NPCI/RuPay.

The day RuPay becomes a for-profit company (hive off from NPCI) and launches its IPO, HSBC Bank will earn huge profits and also receive dividends.

Not just in India, HSBC holds significant shareholding in almost every domestic card network around the world.

HSBC is a bank that thinks long-term.

HSBC has also given a huge boost to domestic card networks in every country by issuing their domestic cards.

For the past few years, I’ve been telling HSBC on Twitter that it always becomes the first bank to launch domestic cards in other countries.

Then what happened in India? HSBC was involved in the launch of NPCI/RuPay as well, so why hasn’t it issued RuPay cards in India yet?
