I have Onecard credit card by SBM bank. The credit card was backed by fixed deposits. The bank was reporting to CIBIL as unsecured credit card. I have raised dispute on CIBIL to change it as secured credit card which was rejected by SBM bank. I heard secured accounts will have a positive impact on CIBIL score. What should I do now? Please guide

OneCard generally provides a credit limit of approximately 110% of your fixed deposit (FD). So if your FD is of ₹10,000, OneCard will provide a credit limit of ₹11,000. Therefore, it will show up as an unsecured card on credit reports.

Credit cards that show as secured cards on the credit reports provide credit limits less than the FD.
