HDFC Tata Neu Infinity Credit Card Not Linking to New Tata Neu Account

Hi,

I’m facing a strange and frustrating issue with my HDFC Tata Neu Infinity Credit Card, and I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar.

The card is registered with my mobile number (xxxxx). A while ago, I changed the mobile number in my Tata Neu account from xxxxx to yyyyy, and that account is now being used by someone else (my sister).

Later, I created a new Tata Neu account with my original number (xxxxx) — the same number linked to my credit card. But here’s the issue:
  • The card is still visible in the old Tata Neu account (now with yyyyy).
  • The card is NOT visible in my new Tata Neu account, even though it’s the same number and email ID registered with HDFC.
I contacted Tata Neu support, shared all the required details, including application ref, AAN number, card photos, etc. But till now, they seem to be in a confused loop with no actual solution.
Today they even called me and asked what error I’m getting while linking the card.

But the problem is — there is no option to link an existing card! Only the “Apply” button is available, so I shared a screen recording of that too. Still waiting on a meaningful resolution.

This is not just a visibility issue — it’s also about:
  • NeuCoins and card benefits not being credited to the correct Tata Neu account.
  • A serious privacy concern — the card still shows in my old profile that’s no longer under my control.
Has anyone else faced this issue with card linking or benefit redirection after a number change? Any suggestions would really help.

par tumne number change hi kyo kiya app par. sister k liye naya account bana dede unke number se. aisa toh uss app mein kuch hai nahi ki number change karke use karna pade.
now the solution agar usi account par chal raha hai toh number fir se change kardo boom ab app card link kar sakte hai or sister ka naya account bana do
 
You could get the original account back and give your sister your current account. Also the card section in tata neu is really bad. Mycards takes care of that
