Can anyone clarify that what will be the effective return if we buy vouchers from payzapp by regalia gold credit card? How to maximize the HDFC Regalia Gold cards return if we want to purchase vouchers?

Base reward rate is 6% on most of the vouchers.
But if you buy Amazon Pay Gift Card OR Flipkart, then 3% + GST = 3.54% is charged extra, bringing down the overall savings to a mere 2.46%.

Noob question -
If I have some hdfc points that I got from regalia Gold and later when I upgrade to infinia, will those points continue to exist?

Under regalia Gold the point value is 0.5 in smartbuy but after upgrading to infinia, can I use those same points at rs 1 in smartbuy?

(Or in other words, can I use the points earned through RG with Infinia at the higher rate?)

Your points will get converted in 1:0.5 ratio when moving from RG to Infinia or Diners.
In the upgrade form there’s a table which explains conversion ratio during upgrade
