HDFC pre-approved Unconditional LTF confusion

I see the following banner in HDFC net banking very often.


But whenever I click on "Apply now", It shows that renewal waiver is conditional and there is no mention of joining fees.

This is really confusing for me. Is this really Unconditional LTF, as it says in the campaign shown in the URL?

these are not unconditional ltf offers.
talking from my experience, customer care will also give confusing reply over email, as hdfc doesn't like to put anything in writing.

these are lifetime free cards* (* - as long as you spend x amount per year for the rest of your life!!)
