Hdfc bank statement

Hi all,
Getting bank statement for last 3 months is free of cost right if one is salaried wrt all banks?

I went to HDFC n asked this and they said 150 charge. I sited it's only 2 pages and I will take print outside n come. Then they can get update with their seal. Then I also said I m salary acc customer and then they checked acc option n said it's free for my banking program


I checked hdfc statement for charges and they mentioned only savings accounts and not for salary accounts


Is it more complex than this in PSBs

Don't know about HDFC but in ICICI bank it is free for salary accounts as I have taken 6 months statement print out and seal for visa applications. But I remember Axis bank told it was chargeable even for salary account for my wife.

It all depends on your personal relationship with them in private banks. I have taken so many statements in HDFC, ICICI and the bank never asked money.
