new to this can a buy smart buy vouchers apay gift vouchers through my HDFC milenia card and pay light bill through amazon pay? like do we get discounts ? i see gst to be paid on purchase of smartbuy apay vouchers, so does that nullify any gains? or is it better to pay light bill through icici apay card directly. so confusing

ICICI Apay card gives 2% CB

Millenia gives 5% CB but processing fees of 2.95% on smartbuy so effective rate of return is 2.05%

Easier to use ICICI Apay card in your case.

What Abt convenience fees! For insurance it came when I used credit card. Not sure for utility payments below 20k. For above 20k I have seen it applies convenience fee even with apay icici card and it's more for other cArds
I don't see any fee on my electricity bill under 20k; I can't check above 20k but it's probably 1.18% . As for insurance, since it was around 10k, I just used Amazon Pay gift card after buying with cashback card. For insurance premium it's probably 1.5% for apay card

I would use amazon icici if no fees for above 20k
