Axis Atlas Guidance/suggestion/help required to decide on Upgrading to Atlas credit card

Hi all,

I have the following Axis cards
Rewards(Citi migrated) - 30k annual usage required to waive off the fees.
Indian Oil Premium(Citi Migrated) - LTF
Axis Ace - 2L spend required to waive off the fee
Axis FK- 3.5L required to Waive off the fee ( I have hdfc swiggy as alternative for 5% on FK)

Now that I am planning for an upgrade to Atlas or some premium card.
Miles earned on Atlas are only useful if we redeem them for either travel or stay partners which I do not see coming useful for me in near future.

I do not have solid expenses >1.5L other than next 3 months for hospital expenses for my new born , I highly doubt if magnus(non burgundy) is useful for me.

Please suggest me what to do,

which cards to close, what to upgrade, what to keep. in full of confusion.

PS: I am trying to upgrade my HDFC Regalia gold to DCB which is on hold due to address issue

I think you'll have to close 2 of your cards to upgrade to Atlas (on Miles reward system)....as you already have 4 Axis cards now.
or you can upgrade IOCL premium card to Atlas (IOCL will stop working)....
Also, you can close Axis flipkart -- as its paid and you already have Swiggy card.

Also, curious - Why do you want to upgrade to a premium card when there's no specific use case?

Just for the reward rate. getting 1% or 2% is not giving a good feeling. May be FOMO.
Might plan a trip in a year or 2 is also a reason.
Will they upgrade my IOCL without closing a card? and IOCL premuim card is suggested to keep or close? I use fuel of around 2K per month mostly as of now(Bike). Not sure when I will buy a car.
