FYF Icici sapphiro credit card

Hello everyone,
I am currently using icici apay card and coral card and has been offered FYF sapphiro card as upgrade.
I dont want a chargeable card so i want to know that if i take this card now and call icici after 10 months to close card then will there be any chance that they convert it into LTF or i should wait until they offer me LTF instead of FYF

I feel it’s better to wait for LTF offer. The only benefit of Sapphiro over coral is the BMS BOGO movie ticket offer and more complementary lounge access. It’s not something worth to take a chance.

They were asking me to upgrade my card to sapphiro FYF but I always declined for almost 7 to 8 months. This february they offered LTF and I agreed, after 1 month SR generated and sapphiro appeared in icici app. Confirmed with cc about LTF card.

If you have any more card having BOGO then you may postpone the upgrade and wait for LTF call.

I feel it’s better to wait for LTF offer. The only benefit of Sapphiro over coral is the BMS BOGO movie ticket offer and more complementary lounge access. It’s not something worth to take a chance.

Yes I knew but unfortunately not there in both employer & alumni list.
