Fraudulent transaction

My brother cred account is hacked and transaction of approx 2 lacs was done using sbi simply click and icici amazon credit card. bank response is very weak. complaint has been filed in cyber police within 1 hour of transaction. Is these cards are insured?
please share if any email id for escalations?

u need to report to the bank immediately first. Bank is liable to pay the amount if met certain conditions but u need to inform the bank first better in writing.

send an email to the bank and their website for fraudulent transaction asap. if you call on the number provided at the back of the card, there is a dedicated ivr option for fraudulent transactions.

banks release the payments to merchants after 1-2 days so if they want, they can stop the payment.

rest i will leave it to other members of this community for more inputs.
