Fraudulent SBI Credit Card Application & CIBIL Enquiry - Need help

Hey guys,

I received an email today for personal email verification and mobile number validation for a credit card application that I never applied for. The email came from SBI Cards.

A few minutes later, I received another email from TransUnion CIBIL regarding a credit enquiry on my account made by SBI Card.

I have not applied for any credit card with SBI in recent times. Also, the mobile number mentioned in the email is not mine.

What should I do now? Whom should I complain to?

Call sbi customer care & ask them to raise a complaint for identity theft with mobile number in your email & also they used your email id.

Also mail them the same. Customercare@sbicard.com

If cibil enquiry is done then definitely identity theft case.

Cibil enquiry is done on my PAN. Definitely someone used my pan and email id to apply. I have now mailed the customer care team.
