Does standard chartered smart credit card give 2% cashback on rental payments and consider rental payments for spends limit?

I heard lot of people unable to redeem it or didn't get cashback.

Is there any redemption fee? Minimum points /multiple to redeem?

Rewards points expiry?

Does the application valid in metro cities?

No the good thing abt this card is cashback is credited as soon as the transaction gets settled.
Bro , I have a question - if Rent payment 10k then freecharge 153 + 118 from Creditcard(1% +Gst)
we will get 2% cashback means 200.
i mean like overall = 271 charges - 200 cashbback
This is right??? Please correct me if i am wrong.

Hoping for a response

for rent payments card provides (2% cashback - 1.18% rent fee =) 0.82%.

Now, on top of this frechrg or pytm charge extra, deduct that amount from this 0.82%. remaining your benefit or loss.

Bro First thanks for the response,

So, Can you suggest right now which CC is better ,Low premium cards ready to take? Rent 25-30k .
which covers taxes all with cashback or whatever. If milestones are better with this rent payment, it's an added benefit.

As of my knowledge right now,
AU LIT card :- 2% cashback + 10x,5x rewards(some sying removing these now) - But i have doubts about paying rent can i be eligible for rewards and milestones??
standard chartered smart credit card fee:- As you said 2% cashback - 1.18 charges - But some said for Rent payment it wont work
Amex platinum CC :- can we get Cashback this ?? - But joining fee ??
fi federal bank - I am not eligible it said

Finally, Sorry for So much data:LOL:, Thinking too much from past 3 days😟
So suggest to me bro as per view which CC is better for me. To pay and earn something if possible( yearly waive + cashbacks)
I'm ready to join with your referral.

Hope in future it will be helpful to others as well😁

Debit card or UPI. Unless you can get those super premium cards or paying through redgiraffee.

Current available cards and their beneifts (upto premium level) not sufficient to pay through pytm, frechrge etc. who charges >1%

I am looking for Credit cards. bcz those only give us some time to pay back.

Let me tell you, i have 3 points.

1 . Credit Card :- from where we can get max benefits like cashback( where we can at least waive off some charges), milestones if there advantage.

2. platform:- I felt like no broker, freecharge (without agreement details)best as of my knowledge (Let me know if anything else is there), have less fee.

3. CC Bill Paying:- i have an HDFC platinum debit card. which gives 1% cashback as you know.

So, here I am missing the 1st point. So, suggest me few credit cards ........ either won't charge anything for Rent payments or Give cashback to cover that fee.
I think you got my overview. So whatever cards bro, just suggest me (Free CC or Premium CC or Super premium CC(Difficult i think 😁 ).

Before mentioned CC ( AU LIT CC , stand char Smart CC, Amex platinum CC). Any of these CC won't give Cashback or not worth taking??

AU doesn't charge any extra for rent payment, so whatever that card provides that % you'll get (deduct platform fee from it). choose cards as per your spending needs. Milestones as per card exist but only upto 1%.

SC Smart gives 0.82%. deduct platform fee from it rest your benefit. No milestones with SC.

HDFC no rewards but milestone 1% available, if you think worth it can go for it. Any card from this bank.

Remaining all banks (IIRC) charge 1.18% but provides <1% as rewards, so not worth it.

Finally, UPI is best IMO to avoid hassle. Rest upto you because with >1% fee from nobro or frechrg, none of the present cards worth it.

Hard truth, rent payment with credit card is over unless redgiraf because of 0.5% fee. You're late to the party.

Best cards: Citi Prestige, M4B etc. HNI cards.

Btw, none of the platforms accept AMEX cards, not sure if any changed recently but do check before going for this purpose.

Your calc is correct on SCB smart card
You won't get cashback or reward pts on Au Lit cc. Rent is excluded. Afaik AU don't charge processing fees only on first rent transaction of the month.

thanks,
After a discussion with @helloworld, i thought of going with AU Lit(bcz i thought without fee and i thought i will get few RP/CB)( he didn't say i will get RP/CB , I thought of it)

But now SCB smart Credit card( not smart card right ??😶‍🌫️(clarification)) is better to go with iam thinking.
You're sure about 2% cashback right?? bcz I don't have rental agreement like that.

You got my view right? Do you suggest any cards for me ??

Full on headache mode bro🥸

Yes SCB smart cc.
I got 2% cashback for rent payment and 1%+gst processing fee will be charged.
I was using bharat nxt for rent payments earlier coz it was classified as utility category so no processing fees but for my last payment it was considered under rent category so fee was charged.
