Digital account, Zero balance with UPI account

Hello ,

One of my friend will be back India.
He doesn't have any account with UPI.

So he wants to open an account digitally and want to avail UPI.

Please suggest.
Also without much calls from Banker or agent

UPDATE:
kotak 811, AU , fed selfie looking good for new online ZERO balance account.

Got the Yes Bank BSBDA account few days back. Got the PMJDY Rupay Debit Card. Today had a talk with BM regarding this that Element Debit Card was chosen as card type but instead provided PMJDY one. He admitted the mistake as both SOC and Trailing Mail mentioned about Element DC as chosen DC and therefore he had a talk with Card Issuing Team and said they won't be able to provide Element DC.
My question is if they had to give that PMJDY card then they could have mentioned that during the account opening process. BM told me to wait for 2 days.

@souvikdey2002 your thoughts on this. Do you think mailing to PNO will work ?

Baki rupay offer ne sabhi banko ko customers diye hai 😁
Jis din offer band hoga use din Ferrari ke speed se accounts band honge 😂
