After reading the title, I know what you're thinking —

Lol... but let me share an interesting loophole and a real-life story with you.

Recently, @RewardsAlert tweeted about a loophole involving the Axis Atlas X Casino X Accor Points Redemptions trick.
Someone forwarded me a screenshot of it — I had completely missed the tweet because I was tied up with some medical emergencies.
For those who aren’t aware of the trick, here’s a quick summary:

People used to visit Accor hotels with in-house casinos (like the one in Goa). They would:

  1. Buy casino chips and convert them into hard cash,
  2. Ask the casino to bill the amount to their hotel room,
  3. Later settle the hotel room bill using Accor Points — effectively converting Accor Points into cash at a value of ₹1.8 per point!
But that’s just one side of the story…

Others took it a step further — they:
  • Purchased chips at hotel casinos,
  • Cashed them out,
  • Got the amount billed to their hotel room,
  • Then settled the bill using a credit card that earns accelerated rewards on hotel spends, like Axis Atlas, Magnus Burgundy, etc.
In short, they used this trick to:
✅ Convert credit card limit to cash
✅ Earn bonus reward points on top

But guess what?
This trick goes back even further — long before Magnus and Atlas even existed.

I personally know someone (a good friend of mine), who used to travel weekly to Sikkim and sometimes even Nepal just to use his HDFC Infinia and HDFC DCB cards for the same trick.

By repeatedly encashing his credit limit this way, he earned over 10 lakh reward points, which he later converted to Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Miles — yes, 10 lakh air miles. 😳

Maximizing credit cards at its highest level!

I feel for farming views, many loopholes are being put out now a days resulting to plugging of all loopholes and making banks more cautious of these intelligent tactics. They might even hire a Black 🐐 from CC geeks. Who knows...

Never went to casino, can we have some details:

1. Do we need to pay upfront at the time of Purchase chips at hotel casinos ?
2. Can we just convert the casino chips to cash them out even without playing or exact amount of chips purchased ?
3. For amount billed to hotel room, What's the tentative cost of room ? ((Pta lga kamane gye aur hotel k room m saara paisa lga k aagye))
4. After getting understanding of these things, will take Atlas if trick is working currently :hehe: (Is it patched ?)

Am I the only one here who didn't understand anything?

imagine a trick so unique....no influencer has discovered it yet....and it helped someone earn 50L+ infinia points and 50L+ axis edge rewards (its much more than 50L)....but alas no one will tell abt that trick publicly...coz they're not interested in followers...they're not interested in fame.....they're just interested in earning points....and living life king size via use of these points...

For point 2.
If they give non cashable chips, play russian roulette and place half on red and other half on black, so basically u have convert half of chips to cashable.
Now place all cashable on red and all non cashable on black, and keep doing this until you get all cashable.

is it worth to put so much head into something like this? y not put energy to grow professionally than thinking and finding some loopholes to scam someone(bank in this case)?
