Credit Card/Prepaid card to Credit card bill pay trick (Airtel Wallet account holders only):

Note -
This trick is working only for Airtel Wallet mini kyc account.

First make sure your Airtel wallet balance should be Zero.

Now open Amazon or Cred app >> go to credit card bill pay >> payment mode select "Airtel Net banking" >> now login your Airtel wallet account >> enter mPIN >> enter your Credit card/Prepaid card details and Pay. 😁 😁

No extra charges debited and monthly limit is Rs9000 per Airtel wallet mini kyc account.

Note - Dnt load money to Airtel Wallet, directly pay via Net banking using your Credit card/Prepaid card.

Credit card bill pay via "Airtel Net banking" comes under Bill payment category, you can also earn your Credit card bill payment rewards point/cashback.

You can also use your Wallet balance like OLA Money, Phonepe, Freecharge, Mobikwik, Jiomoney for Credit card bill payment.

First load money to 'Pencilton wallet app RuPay card' or 'Funngro wallet app RuPay card' via OLA Money, Phonepe, Freecharge, Mobikwik, Jiomoney.

Now use your 'Pencilton RuPay prepaid card' or 'Funngro RuPay prepaid card' on "Airtel Net banking" to pay your Credit card bills.

Enjoy. 😁 😁

My Airtel thanks wallet is dormant. Do you know how to reactivate the wallet without upgrading the same to Airtel Payment Bank savings account as fresh KYC would automatically convert it to the savings account which I don't want to do due to its random charges?

Charges are only for sms if you don't use the account extensively, I have got the sms charges waved off for me

I would think post upgrade it would become a 'Bank' account instead of a wallet. So unlikely, but not sure. Would instead suggest to open Airtel wallet on more than one numbers.

Tried this trick with Axis Magnus card to test if I get reward points for this. And to my surprise I did! Does this mean that -
1. Transaction done via this method is not considered a wallet transaction?
2. Transaction which accrue reward points would be counted in the 1L spend category?

1. Yes
2. Yes

Note - Airtel Wallet use 2 payment gateways, 1st is mastercard payment gateway and 2nd is PayU.

Doesn't look like it's working anymore. I keep getting this error for last 3 days now. Is it working for anyone else?
