Credit Card Issuers that allow (or NOT) easy movement between cards

What's swapping or movement between cards?
Like, upgrade or downgrade. Eg: With Axis one just has to call them, and they can give any card if one has credit limit for the same.

In Case of HDFC, one has to apply offline or online and then hope to get 2nd card. Also, upgrade is much harder and pre-approved barrier is there.

Ok. Got it now. I'd put ICICI on top as it is much easier or faster than Axis in certain areas. On Axis one has to wait for 3 months before getting another card (from pre-approved list). Of course there are exceptions. With ICICI, some people got the platinum card within a couple of days of getting Amazon Pay ICICI CC.

Irrespective of free to paid or paid to paid (LTF needs effort to switch)..

condition: as long as you fulfil the requirement and not aim for super-premium / high level card in that bank

- Citi ( as long as limit sufficient, through call )
- Axis ( through chat or phone banking )
- StanC ( like CIti easy as long as limit sufficient, through call )
- AU ( based on limit, through email )
- Indus ( based on limit, and ok with joining fee through email )
- Kotak ( through app )
- BOB ( if you fulfil income then easy from premier to eterna also, otherwise any card through email )
- ICICI ( if you ok with paid, through twitter or phone )
- HDFC ( based on spends, income and not for super-premium cards )

experience may vary from person to person, so check all and cumulatively update from easy to hard.
