Let's talk about all the credit cards which you have closed so far and also list reason for it.
I have closed
Icici Platinum- Poor Reward points
Axis Flipkart- list of exemptions and already have ACE
Yes Finbooster- never used
Yes Exclusive- Annual Fees
RBL ICON- pathetic reward system for a premium card
Axis Magnus- Reason well known
IDFC Select- upgraded to Wealth

SBI SimplySave (already have simplyclick and want to clear spot for Cashback card)
SBI Spar (no use)

I don't think they will allow you to apply for a 4th SBI card even if you close your 3rd card.

Transferred edge reward points and closed Axis Magnus today. What a card it was one year back!

I have total 13 cards including two virtual rupay cards. Till now no card is closed but upgrades are happened. I started tracking the benefits of all my credit cards such as reward points, instant discounts etc. after one, I am going to compare total savings and will close few cards based on savings comparison.
