Clarification regarding Pre-existing Disease.

TF Buzz
I was looking up for Health Insurance plans on different websites, most of the plans mentioned this definition of Pre-existing diseases.
Pre-existing Disease means any condition, ailment, injury or disease
a. That is/are diagnosed by a physician not more than 36 months prior to the date of commencement of the policy issued by the insurer; or
b. For which medical advice or treatment was recommended by, or received from, a physician, not more than 36 months prior to the date of commencement of the policy
My question is, what about a disease diagnosed more than 36 months ago and is stable with ongoing treatment? Does it come under pre-existing disease?
Also which platform would you advise to buy the policy from? I've seen ditto and beshak being discussed on social media.

Edit: I am not planning on hiding it. I'm confused by this definition. If they do consider it a pre-existing disease, do they waive off waiting period in case of stability of the disease in the past four years?

Let's assume I am the insurer
I would reject the claim by finding out any prescription or visit schedule for that disease in the last 36 months and thus will escape from giving claim bcz of the following
b. For which medical advice or treatment was recommended by, or received from, a physician, not more than 36 months prior to the date of commencement of the policy
And this is impossible that you do not revisit the doctor or change medicine or update treatment for any disease.

भावार्थ यह है कि जहां से सस्ता मिलता हो वहां से उठा लो कौनसा claim मिल जाएगा एक बार में 😂

No, I'm not thinking of hiding it. I meant do they consider it a pre-existing disease by their own definition? And if they do, do they waive off waiting period in case of stability of the disease in the past four years?
