CIBIL score dropped by 8 points for NO reason

My CIBIL score dropped from 795 to 787.

No new inquiries, no dues, credit usage is 4% of total credit limit.

2 changes only
1) One card reached 30% credit utilization because an electronic item was bought. But overall credit usage was %4.
2)EMIfied that electronic item transaction for 3 months because Amazon provided discount only on EMI transaction.

Is this normal?

Minor correction: It should be before cibil reporting date, and not bill generation date.

Actually this is also correct, some banks report before bill generation..
So bill generation or CIBIL reporting date which ever earlier and also depending upon the bank

This is really a good score unless you have specific need for it to be above 800

cibil tends to be lower.. crif and experian show higher scores...

myself including other have reported drop of 8-20 point.. one or two individual even more so nothing to worried if you have looked into your cibil report.

edit - it back to 789.
