Checking offers affect cibil?

There is an option in hdfc bank to check pre approved offers. Does checking pre approved offer affects cibil score?

No checking pre-approved doesn't effect cibil. Only submitting application affects cibil .

Nope it won't affect your CIBIL, however it will create a small nuisance by creating an application number everytime you check for pre-approved cards. So, when you actually apply for one, chances are you will get a rejection msg with reason: Previous application in progress.

Solution is: Mailing HDFC to close your previous applications and start afresh. If you have HDFC Bank account you can ping your HDFC Bank RM. They can do it from their end also.

But there is a good chance that u get other offers.. I checked for card, lateron they gave me 1 lakh personal loan but not card 😃

Yes HDFC has 1 cc policy (except HNI)

You can only have 1 cc in hdfc i was also not aware about this then i called them and got to know this 😔

I have jet privilege card 7 years ago now last year they sent me InterMiles because they discontinued jet privilege
