Cash Deposit Fee/Charges in Credit Card

MKC, IndusInd charged me Flat 100 INR for a cash deposit of 7500 INR directly to a credit card. Wtf? Is this even legal? It is technically 1.33% of the amount, for what? For utilising it a month? That too MDR payment?

Then what is the 50 K cash deposit limit a year in credit card meant for?

It is a FD backed secured Legend CC.

Any comments, seniors at TF??? I personally don't feel this to be legal.

Please guide me, I have to deposit more than 20 K cash in same way to same card via cash in next couple of days.

I do not want to do it the CASA account way. I want to directly deposit the cash someplace. Or through other methods, gift card etc. I don't know. JUST NOT VIA Saving or Current Account.

So cash ko apne kisi bhi account me jama karke online payment karo.

100 per transaction whether you deposit 10 or 10lac the fee is fixed. How I know because I was a bank cashier for few months in hdfc

Paying credit card bill through cash is liable for charges. This is common across banks.

Pehle credit card se freely cash nikalne ke tricks dhoondho, phir credit card cash bill payment freely karne ke tricks dhoondho. Phir Reward points ko freely redeem karne ke tricks dhoondho. Per transaction 100 lagegaa,chahe 1 lac krao ya 10 lac... 100 hi lagega
