Can HDFC Bank increase MAB in case branch becomes urban from rural?

I want to know that can HDFC increase MAB if branch becomes urban or semi urban from rural status. Did this usually happen or it will happen after census.

I don't know about process of upgrade, but can surely tell you YESS. MAB gets auto updated by system as soon as branch location changes.

I suppose banks have to notify customers in advance for such change and applicable charges.

Will HDFC may give it or they just offer to metropolitan cities. Don't want to maintain 10k.

Even after having a classic relationship, I asked bank to upgrade my existing CC to Millenia (Lifetimefree), unfortunately, they are denying. So, don't keep hope.
