I’m looking to travelling across the country. Since, I’ve just started travelling my aim is to have budget hotel redemptions using reward points rather than the luxury ones.

Starting this thread for all to post their previous budget hotel redemptions or ones that they have seen/explored for everyone to refer.

for chennai, it's 7k. check holiday inn express, thoraipakkam. there were some offers too.

When I checked,oveseas locations such as Bali, Dubai etc, Marriot bonvoy points required are way lesser than Indian cities eg.Goa and Hyderabad.

No idea about IGH. Is it better for domestic use,lesser points are required?

Depends on the city. IBIS are there in all major cities though.. available from 1.8K to 5K INR per day
