When is BSNL launching BSNL Pay?

Although no exact date for the launch of BSNL Pay has been made officially, reports have it that the new UPI services is expected to be launched by Diwali 2025. Readers should also note that no separate app named ‘BSNL Pay’ is going to be launched. Rather, users will be able to use BSNL Pay on the Self Care (BSNL Selfcare) app.

With the launch of the BSNL Pay, users will be able to do all types of online payments that can be made through this service with the same limit as payments are made through PhonePe, GooglePay or Paytm. Lol there are tons of UPI apps out there but none of them come close to Google Pay and Phonepe.

BSNL will be one of them. Even Payzapp is struggling to keep up.

Why it’s bad for PhonePe or Paytm, it literally makes zero sense, i mean telecom duopoly Jio & Airtel offers upi on their Native Apps still People prefers PhonePe GPay etc. fin enthusiasts use Cashback tied Apps like kiwi super money navi etc. maybe 0.01% percent of upi users might use so called bsnl app again saying might use. If you wanna play stated owned card, we got bhim by npci itself!

SBI card is going to tie up with BSNL Pay to launch their Co branded credit card soon.

Flat 10% cashback on BSNL recharge and broadband up to 1000.
Flat 5% on selected merchant upto 1000
And 1% on other category upto 500.
Annual fee: 750+gst and fee waiver at 1.5L annual spending.

But to apply the card you need 7 lakh+ annual income with credit exposure less than 7 lakh.
