Infinia Breaking! New HDFC Infinia criteria increased? - Update July 2025

1. CL requirement increased to 10L.
2. If your CL is increased to 10L recently in last 6 months, then this won't work.

I have tons of questions.

1. Do we need ITR/Salary even if Imperia/infinity RLV/TRV requirement is reached?
2. Is CL/Spends criteria increased only in case of imperia/infinity?

Normal sending email to grievance, is 8L limit still works?

Yeah the biggest hurdle for me is meta ads not accepting diners. But still shouldn't be that difficult to manage spends for waiver atleast. The base spend rate is as good as infinia right?

Nop, unable to pay education fee with Diners, with Infinia I’m able to and earn regular reward points. My friends too faced issues paying fee at schools/institutes (online & offline) with Diners and Amex. Issue is their high MDR. Moreover, for certain corporate bookings such as cabs (internal portal), card details are needed m. We can also provide our personal card details for the purpose of blocking although our corporate Amex is obviously recommended and preferred. Here all the cards are accepted except Diners. In Indonesia and other south east counties, Europe majority f places Diners isn’t accepted.
That said, I held Diners Black for a long time ans loved it specially for its lounge network. I switched to Infinia post my Bali trip where Diners wasn’t accepted even at one place.

Ohh. We have a contrasting experience. I too had DCB. I might not have used in Bali though. I think I had the OG magnus at that time.
It was accepted at 80% places in Germany and Switzerland. But not a single merchant accepted Diners in Paris.
After that I escalated the issue to HDFC and luckily I fulfilled the spends criteria for Infinia.
But generally I never faced acceptance issues in India for DCB. Most of the time I stayed in a tier 3 city and never faced issues.

      Even chief justice, PM , Vice president, Governors of state in india are not eligible for HDFC Infinia by salary criteria after tax. . it seems only president will be eligible for HDFC Infinia in india after tax. LOL.

It’s not HDFC’s fault that India doesn’t pay their top officials well. In any case, the top officials don’t really need any card as all their expenses are paid by the government. President of India is a high position but it isn’t the benchmark for high salary. Plenty of people earn more.

Some one had posted in group that they had seen Infinia reserve , issued to only few 100 in India so far ?

Surprisingly no buz on SM about this one ..

Seems like they might issue if to very few

My question is whats the use of such product , which they can't issue to even few thousand ..
Dose it make any sense for banks to issue such products ?

AFAIK, there's no Infinia Reserve in existence. Don't believe any rumors.
