Best Way to pay Credit Card Bill

Guys I am redacting this post as I have been asked by the bank for non disclosure as mentioned in TnCs else my account would be suspended. They had asked me to remove this as this violates the TnC related to not getting reward points for CC payments.

Just login to netbanking and check your points for Indus Select Visa and MC World debit cards.

I just found out that I got points for credit card bill payments done in Paytm using Indus Select Visa debit card (mayb long ago) in netbanking.

This is correct. My Android app did not show any points. Netbanking did, but very less points. I paid 30k in paytm on May 15 but got only 100 odd points

IndusInd bank for a reason.. we just need to move on to some other bank

But for past month and this month, doing bill payment of 112k from SBIUnipay on VISA Select DC, but only got half the points instead of full 3000 RP. Not sure whats happening does anybody knows?

Got around 1700 RP past month and this month too after doing full 112k bill payment.

Indus is very inconsistent in crediting RPs in my experience

I've paid 65k using IDFC Select DC and received RP as mentioned 0.5% for 50k thereafter 2.5% so if I pay ₹80-85k bill today will I receive it as 2.5% or 0.5% for 50k and then 2.5% for 30-35k?

If someone can help me with this....

Ideally payment date is considered, even for dc also.. so if u do it today it would count towards May month and commutative spend only..

Suppose I make 50k payment using this card tomorrow i.e. 1st June…and then 10 days later I receive my upgraded Select DC & the normal card gets automatically canceled!

So now txns. on new Selcet DC with earn 2.5% rewards from starting or I’ve to spend 50k again from this card for 2.5% rewards??

In short, will txn. done on Normal DC be clubbed with txn. done on Select DC or not??

AFAIK it wont be counted...
youll have to spend 50k headstart on Select DC as well. Ill recommend wait for the upgrade.

Not sure, would recommend to wait tho.. problem is idfc customer support is not that interested to solve issues lyk this and they will simply say its seperate, so best to wait

Can you check the merchant name? I’ve received points for these transactions.

My Transaction has below entry in statement
