Open Fi Money account (free) and get their zero forex debit card. It has zero forex on international online and POS transactions and a flat 100rs fees for ATM withdrawal, this is best in India.

Note: you need to maintain 50k monthly to have zero forex benefit.

This is for people in the future, japanese banks charge less conversion charges. I have on multiple occasions found it better to just use my debit card and at the Japanese ATM, do currency conversion (that is, ask the ATM to charge my account in ₹). Big banks like MUFG, Mizuho, it's cheaper than using my Forex (tried with ICICI and HDFC).

Ohh yes, Wise is the best, after I got wise, I just use it for all my forex transactions. Which country are you a resident of by the way?

I am a resident of india but got wise card in 2020 in Germany. I have been in Canada, Uk after that and wise provides multiple bank accounts on single ID plus interest on all accounts. It's a pity wise account can't be applied in india.

Yes RPJ but other jcb cards should work in same way
