I know the ideaology, just wasn't sure if that happens in India or not. I know if you submit an accident claim, then next insurance premium will be high (and you loose no claim bonus). But didn't knew about Challans.

Sure. I have paid previously for others using Ace. I have received them. Tried SBI cashback once and didn't get it on that. Ever since I have relied only on Ace for these kinds of transactions

Never heard in India.
I know it happens in developed countries where violation points affects your insurance rating for 3-5 years depending if it’s minor or a major violation. Insurance companies run MVR (motor vehicle record) to fetch this info periodically.

Wow that's what I was waiting for . Peak Technofino Moment seeking rewards in challans, and why not what has happened has happened atleast we can get some relief by getting rewards/Cashback.
