I had discussed with Axis support to convert my Visa MyZone card to Rupay variant. Initally they are not aware of the option like this and denied, after continuous discussion and explanation over chat, they realized that there is an option like this and agreed to convert.
But according to Customer care after conversion, it will not be a LTF one and will be charged 500 + GST.

I just mentioned that as per RBI circular there should be no charges levied for changing card network and all, but they dont agree.
Any suggestions to convert to Rupay and still maintain as LTF. Should I email pno directly or should reachout someone else first ?
Suggestions please.

Share the guideline to pno and get their response in email. If they don't agree, go to rbi ombudsman.

Is there any other way to convert as LTF other than bargaining with Axis CC ?

Already tried & got same solution..i have it ltf too in visa
Pno was clueless. And says contact customer care..
They are bunch of useless 🪴

And finally some ray of light from Axis 😅after sharing the RBI circulars.
They have specified that its possible to convert and will be retaining it as LTF. But looks like some delay will be there or some conditions applied 🤷‍♂️ for converting back to LTF.

Have writted back asking if there will be any charges or not. If its going to be LTF again, I will ask to proceed further. ✌️
