Axis isn't recognising bill paid via cred

Hello Guys...

The bill amount was 2685 which was due on 5th of May so i paid bill amount + little extra i had so , i paid 3948 via cred on 25 April

But even after the payment got reflected on axis statement. It still shows as Bill pending but as in cred app it shows as I've paid the bill in full. So what's the truth? Do i have to pay the bill amount ONLY through the axis app for the bill to be marked as paid or something? Will i be charged late fee if paid via cred ? I'm new to traditional credit cards so little confused

That's fine, even on HDFC, it shows last bill after paying, nothing to worry about.

After the bill is generated, paying anything above bill amount will count as bill paid in full right??

It's is showing last paid amount of 3948 as success . I guess when your next statement will generate there will be credited amount. Axis system is pathetic. Or if you're still curious just mail axis bank or for faster resolution call them or use chat option.

Yes that's right plus your balance should show in negative (if you don't have any other unbilled amount) as you paid more than anticipated.
