Opened an Axis Liberty account for my spouse in June and received a Liberty Debit Card. Later, I added this account to my Family Banking setup, as I hold a Burgundy Salary account.

In June, I made a purchase worth ₹60,000 on Cred using the Liberty Debit Card, and the transaction is categorized as P2M. However, I haven’t received the cashback yet.

Could you please confirm if Liberty accounts linked under Family Banking are eligible for quarterly spend-based cashback benefits?

Better downgrade to Liberty and spend 25k per month..

Update!
Axis Bank finally updated their terms and conditions for the liberty savings account.

Now, they have officially mentioned transactions done through UPI / Mobile Banking / Internet Banking also eligible for exclusions MCC.

Earlier they used to write only debit card but now they clarified that any mode of transaction done on excluded MCC will not be eligible for 750 voucher and waiving minimum balance criteria by spending 25000/-.

They used to follow from long time exclusions on UPI too without mentioning in T&C.

I know yesterday, I don't know when they actually updated. Also, they have not notified us prior 30 days as per RBI guidelines. So can I complaint against it?

I also think that maybe any person has filled complaint against them that's why they updated the T&C.

You can definitely complaint but no compensation for anything, if you just want to tease axis then yes go for it.

RBI will ask for bank reply, waha kya daloge?
