Solution
It's quite risky.
Recently when I asked for retention points, they directly closed two cards at one time.
Needless to say, they did not give me any retention points
Then I had a big hassle to get the 2 cards reinstated.
Maybe because I am a true burgundy member they reinstated the cards, but they may not do it for everybody.

Atlas, Magnus they are closing without giving any retention. I have got retention (3000 CV points) for CV Gold card and closed a week later. As Insurance and many spends are not considered for milestones.

One my friend recently got retention bonus of 5000 ER's and even joining fee reversal on 2nd attempt for his privilege card.

I was asking for retention benefits on 5 cards, and they closed 2
Axis is not like amex 😂 today i called the Cs for retention offer and they said wait a min we don’t know anything like this 🙂 just pay fees and get ur card renewed.

Atlas has no retention offer it seems. I raised a cancellation request and they said that they don't have any retention offers for Atlas however since I hold a My zone credit card as well, they were ready to offer 2500 Edge rewards on that one. I chose to continue with the card anyway as I will be on the Platinum Tier for next year as well.
privilege, myzone, select are major revenue cards for bank, they keep customers and credit only if they ask.
its easy for privilige, myzone and select cards to get 5000 ER. Just ask them for retention ofer in 11th month.
