If someone tries to make a living out of these cashback then this is bound to happen. Although I do think the cashback cap should have been back calculated to break even at fee reversal. I like that they capped rather than removing features.

As long as I can get more than 589 cashback through this card in a year I don't mind paying fees.

Still a good card for retail users. ₹10k spends per month on bill is ideal for individual user.

Capping is better than actual devaluation.
Also 2% Cashback per month (without any cap) on offline spends is higher than any other card in the market.
No need to pay 10k bill through Axis Ace Credit Card.

You can rotate money through OLA Wallet and get 5% cashback and spend anywhere through Mayamoney RuPay card, trick here

Right, first they marketed card like everything is unlimited and then devaluation just like yes first exclusive
I have not seen marketing of this card anywhere. Moreover, it is one of the most difficult card to get since it is not easily available to apply.

I earn upto Rs 500 cashback from these categories, so I am sure this won't affect me 😊
+1, doesn't affect me much as well.

Anyway most of us don't have >10000 bill payment.
So cashback = annual fee is easily achievable.
Plus this card will keep giving 2% for payments offline.
And being core axis card, its eligible in all sales for instant discount whenever applicable.

Airtel axis would be better in that case. Zomato and Swiggy 10% instead of 5% and 10% utility bills on Airtel thanks. Both having separate 500 and 300 cappings respectively.
Edit: I hope it's not next :).
Devaluation started this year with Magnus, next Vistara cards, FK cards, now ace. Every Axis card on the list of devaluation. Soon it might be Axis Airtel card also.

I actually have around 7k bills per month electricity, DTH, Internet, Gas and water bill, so your trick was a bonus. Now I guess you need to calculate how much cap remaining and only rotate small amount to fill the 500 cap
