AU CC: Insurance & Income Tax Offer without opening a new account or card

AU SFB has an 'Insurance & Income Tax Offer' where you get either bonus RP or an Amazon voucher for making insurance premium or income tax payment.
However, when I tried to 'Claim offer', it opens a dialog with the options to either apply for a new credit card or a new savings account.
Has anyone been able to avail the offer without applying for a new card or a savings account? How?

The CC onboarding page never actually opened. The bank account opening did proceed but I canceled it as I don't want to open a new account.
Anyways, what's the point of asking an AU bank CC holder to apply for another credit card when you don't even allow anyone to have more than one card?!

Most of these offers the fulfillment t&c says 60 days from order finish date. In most of cases you would have forgotten about it. They are making fools of customers.

Even if I forget, it's not difficult to add a reminder. But that's not the issue here.

I haven't been able to claim and use the offer in the first place. (How) can one do it without opening an account or a second AU CC?

Just email the au cc team with screenshot of the issue. You should be able to get a resolution. If not approach their hierarchy and later RBIO.
