Even for salaried people their limited pincode network is an issue. Both my residence and work address are outside their pincode networkAre you salaried or self employed?
HSBC gives card to salaried only ( for non hsbc account holders)
Yes there is a limited serviceability issue also thereEven for salaried people their limited pincode network is an issue. Both my residence and work address are outside their pincode network
Yes with axis there is always that risk there..I already have Atlas in pre-approved cards list butI have a hunch that if Axis is thinking of discontinuing new applications for Atlas then it's highly probable that they'll devalue it too soon or might scrap it totally...
We all know about reputation of Axis in terms of cards
So rushing behind it on basis of a rumour doesn't looks like a good idea to me
Bro axis jitna shitty system kisi ka nahi hai... so many loopholes...tier 1 city valo.. hsbc travel 1 hai na.. itna kyo tadap rahe hoo.. atlas ke liyee!!!
Yes great Indian miles YouTuber put a new video on hsbc travel cardtier 1 city valo.. hsbc travel 1 hai na.. itna kyo tadap rahe hoo.. atlas ke liyee!!!
Existing atlas cards will be available or replaced with something shit hahaAtlas was a good card for offline spends and travel spends. With good transfer partners too.
I was lucky to get it last month. Now if they stop it, do t know what will happen to existing card holders.
Travel one is not directly in the same league of atlas.
Card experts should find another card maybe horizon Olympus magnus or something else.
As long as atlas is there, it's fine. But after that what?
Regalia Gold
Plat travel
Travel one
These are close but not matching.
Mayne one card cannot replace atlas. We need a combination of 2 cards. What are your preferred replacements if atlas shuts down?
I don't think they will be scrapping Atlas. If so they wouldn't be opening it up for add-on cards now.
However, there is a good chance that they will be discontinuing new applications. I think this is because they want to focus on Horizon and the upcoming launch of Olympus for general public.
Atlas is superior in rewards compared to Horizon and Olympus with even annual fees being not that high. The existence of Atlas must be hampering the sales of Horizon and will undercut Olympus too.
Like someone said Atlas is an expensive product for Axis, the last remaining vestige of that exuberant OG Magnus era. They can't really devalue it because Horizon exists. Everyone will immediately close their cards and Axis will lose all those annual fees, they probably learned this from Magnus (though losing Magnus annual fees would've still been better than continuing with it).
So yeah, discontinuing it makes sense for Axis but hopefully they will let us use it in its present form for a couple of years more.
Yes this too is quite possible. However most people would just cancel the card and move to HSBC T1. That is a much superior travel product compared to Horizon at a marginally higher cost. Not that Axis cares, but this is expected of them, actively making customers abandon their products and pushing them towards competition. Axis doesn't like to have customers. The fewer, the better, they say. They may simply 'downgrade' the Atlas card to Horizon at each person's renewal (with the lower annual fee). That way, they have two distinct tiers: Olympus (super premium) and Horizon (premium) and they save some money since Horizon offers only a 1:1 transfer ration.
Yes I got atlas ltf with burgundy relationship after long lengthy fight upto pnoYes this too is quite possible. However most people would just cancel the card and move to HSBC T1. Also, there's a (very) small subset of people who have both Atlas and Horizon.
