For Atlas , the Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) markup fee is 1.5% plus taxes for international transactions performed in Indian currency at an international location or with merchants located in India but registered in a foreign nation
so in simple terms.. if u pay in foreign currency like usd aed eur etc you will be charged 3.5% plus gst and if u pay to a foreign company in INR then DCC of 1.5% plus gst
Another followup question. Does airbnb fall under 5 EM category? I read somewhere that international airbnb has a separate MCC compared to domestic one.

I see. I just searched and found this reddit thread. Even in my case, the airbnb portal is forwarding to Razorpay and asking for PAN details. When you booked for Sri Lanka, did the same happen?

Folks I need to book Airbnb worth 4000 Pounds. I have Atlas which charges 3.5% + GST for foreign transactions and Infinia as well. Which card do you suggest?
You can use a card which has the maximum base rewards subtracting any DCC charged by the card. People generally use SBI cashback card to get 5% as there are no DCC charges levied by SBI. I don't know Olympus's base reward rate and DCC but it might be the best in your listed cards.

Btw, I got 5x points on international using atlas, you can try a smaller transaction (The payment portal was razorpay and it's also asked for PAN number). But not sure if every airbnb will get it or not.
