AMEX Platinum Travel Renewal

I called yesterday for Plat Travel. Fees was charged on 25th July.

No retention offer. Closed the card finally. To be honest I did not find much use for the card during last year also. All the other cards taking up all of the spends

Yes I tried multiple times no one agreed for downgrade. I have 63k points

My travel plat was due for renewal and I have spent 5 L on card last year . On chat support he said no offer for renewal , I asked him to close card which he did in few minutes.
Done with amex , now will shift all school payements to other card .

The @Card doctor himself couldn’t save his Amex.
We are not even compounders 🤦🏼

I won't miss Amex much ..only thing good was very good credit limit it had ..

Hdfc is not increasing my credit limit ( stuck at 8 L )
