Amex MRCC application rejected

My Amex MRCC application through referral was rejected immediately stating the information they received from the Credit Information Company does not satisfy their internal criteria.

My score is 751 and my existing Axis card is 4 months old. What CIBIL score do I need to apply for Amex card?

Also should I try going for Smart Earn instead. Will I get approved for it?

But if salary ITR is good then that last 3 months cibil enquiry they r not making mandatory

That's not correct - i have more than 20 enquiries and still got MRCC and Gold charge.

I can confirm that's not the case I applied for SBI CB on 30th December 2022 , BOB HPCL on 3rd January 2023 and Amex MRCC on 16th January all of them got approval on the same day ! CIBIL was 785. I never apply more than 2 CC per year but I felt like lets see how rejection looks lol

If ur payment history is 100% and cibil is above 750...nothing else mafters as per my experience.... And if u luckily have even 1 credit card in cibil.... Then mostly u won't face rejection if u have applied after cooling period....

i had cibil score 728 and literally 6-8 enq in last 3 months but it got approved
