The T&Cs explicitly prohibit this. There is a high chance of the MR points reversal once they look at applications with a finer comb, maybe later next year. Definitely not worth the risk as potentially the rightfully available points also may be forfeited.

yes. better to use others referral. even the ccare confirmed they will fix this as soon as they see exploitation.

But i was under impression on can only refer for the card he holds. So one has mrcc how can he refer plat travel?

Any of your referral link can be used to apply for any cards
The guy who clicks link can choose any card than the landing card by default

Don’t apply via airport or mall guys which will manually show ur old close card
Online auto system will approve based upon cibil score
Again it’s a bug like own referral getting referral bonus not sure how long it exists 😜
