Many people got their policies when they are much older, hence high premiums. Some have older parents etc, their premium will easily touch atleast 50K without much cover also. Some people pay 2 or 3 year in one shot to lock in the premium as well.
Bhai HDFC Ergo Optima Secure medical insurance for a family of 4 will easily touch 40k especially if the eldest people are 40-50...if they are even older it will cross 50

(A) People thinks they are net beneficiary by taking insurance with large sum assured at the cost of hefty premiums.
(B) Insurance agents think they are the one making money out of it.
(C) Insurence company thinks both A and B are behind their profits and existence.
(D) Re-insurance organisation thinks it's our money making machine, pure income, no loss.
(E) Government laughs at A, B, C, & D because it take commission from everyone of them.
(F) God must be thinking now... Am I the loser?
Btw, knowingly I ignore mentioning about insurance cartel gang active in some parts of India. Less I tell about them better. Some believer say they are the agent of God and have given stricter instructions to make God feel better.
Last month I have paid. It didn't give me 5%

They might argue it’s upto 5% and not 5%
I’ll wait till next statement. Sometimes it’s gonna credit in the next statement.

For bill payment base rewards of 1.5% is statement basis but bonus 3.5% is calendar month basis.
So bonus points for the bill payment settled after last day of the month usually comes in next statement.

what can we do now to use the amount which was stacked for insurance payment.

these phone recharges , electricity bill max per month 7 to 10k
but there any websites which allow insurance payment redirect to amazon pay as payment method
or
any way to use this balance to Pay credit card bills
or
any way to use it faster or to get back into bank

I am in the same situation though amount is 20k only. I asked Amazon and they said no other way.
I am asking friends and colleagues to pay their electricity bills or any Amazon purchase on 1% discount. Got one bill of 10k so far.
Did you try direct payment at insurance provider's website using APay Gift Vouchers?

I splitted the bill in 2 halfs like 24999 and 24799 and made payment in two halfs.
But the payment were pending state
Not successful still now.
Now I dont know what to do with that 50k amount struck with amazon
I thought I can pay credit card bill, it also wont happend I think.

The insurer should provide amazon pay as payment mode.

ok.. I have a pending payment this month for ABSLI. They were providing payment option as APay, last time I checked.
