Amazon Business vs Personal account w.r.t. GST invoice & Apay ICICI cashback

I am an Amazon Business account user, which has multiple limitations like non-applicability of shopping voucher, prime voucher, etc. However, business account has benefits of GST invoice/GST input credit for every purchase. My question is -

1. Do you guys receive GST input/invoice while you purchase something from Amazon personal account?
2. Does orders placed from Amazon business account (Prime user) via ICICI Apay Credit card receive 5% cashback? (Assuming ICICI card won't get blocked for infrequent transactions.)

P.S. Few years back my Apay ICICI card got blocked due to few lacs purchase from Amazon business account, after receiving cashback over 13-14 months. Now, again ICICI sending email with preapproved card but I am not sure whether Amazon business account would turn useless with that card & whether Amazon personal account user GST invoice or not.

However, I have often noticed that pricing for certain items or some deals gives different pricing on both accounts. On business accounts, prices are higher by 10-15 percent on sometimes. Although, been rare instances but have noticed.

GST inputs on personal accounts are possible if there are very limited GST spends, it should not look like business expenses. This is based on personal experience

Business account sometimes show business price that is less than the price on personal account.

They are giving the cashback for amz pay icici card in business account transactions for now. Since it's in their tnc they might stop it anyday.

When creating business account they give two options - convert, or use a different email. I understand that you selected the first option and converted your personal account to business account.

So can you only make business purchases from your account now? Is there any option to buy personal items without getting GST Invoice? Did your prime membership continue as is after conversion to business account?

I am confused which option to opt, convert or use different email. If I use different email will I need to buy separate prime membership for business account?

Yes after conversion to Business Account prime membership continues.

If you use different email you will need to have buy separate prime membership. You will also need a different phone number if you want to use UPI. I have a single phone number linked to my business and personal account and i can only use UPI in only one account. You cannot use prime voucher in business account, but you can convert a personal account to business account and vice versa within minutes.

1. U cannot use amazon pay ICICI for business purchase, it will be blocked
2. Separate account required

you cannot have same mob no for two different accounts. I am not sure how you have....I checked with customer care also...If you try to change then you get following warning

Delete GSTIN from the business account..You will not get GSTIN invoice in business account so you can purchase personal items....

Another option is to buy personal items with GSTIN invoice and do not claim ITC.

Beware of false information on this forum...After u use 1st time, you will get warning that u cannot use it for business purchase as per T&C....After 2nd use, card will be permanently blocked.

Yes I converted that account from Basic to Business. Prime membership was as is and I make personal and business purchases both but for some personal items I don't add claim input only for things that are related to my business or where I want to.

Annually, total spends go around 3-4 Lakhs on that account. Includes business items as well as personal items. Also, I might have forgot to mention that all purchases are not with Apay but 40-50 percent of total purchases are so safe to say around 1.5-2 lakhs on APAY which again includes some business items and some personal.

Beware of false information on this forum...After u use 1st time, you will get warning that u cannot use it for business purchase as per T&C....After 2nd use, card will be permanently blocked.

I did read tnc and it says its not allowed but I haven't really faced any issue personally from past few years tho. Maybe just lucky I guess. Not providing any false information, just sharing my side and I do not recommend anyone to use it for business use if tnc says so. Just that I haven't had any issue personally.

Can' really confirm that, It's been over 7-8 years I think since I converted but I do see some orders from 2017 where I can see the product, price and their image but no shipping/delivery address or information and I don't even know if I was using that account before 2017 or not because I also have another Amazon account with different mail and phone which is normal account.

Amazon Credit Card definitely isn't cancelled tho, still using that on the Business account.
