I recently found a link on the airtel website that the airtel axis card is available for students without any income documents required , is this true ?

Update : I tried to apply for it , step by step as they mentioned on their website. while entering income details there was only Salaried or self employed , so i did not continue

Exactly , the entire web page feels like it was done by some intern who wanted to make a those fake blog posts about how you can get a credit card as a student

If you have any savings or credit card u can put it as self employed. No varification is there . U will get the card according to your eligibility

I got this card approved today. I have an Airtel sim and I applied from the Airtel app itself. My age is 19 and I have one ITR of 467k. Filled in as self employed and filled the annual income as the ITR. I Applied for the card
yesterday and it didn't approve instantly but got an SMS from Axis saying that thank you for applying... along with the application tracking number.

Today I got the SMS in the morning that the card has been approved. I checked via whatsapp bot and got a limit of 30k.

Also if it's relevant then I hold Axis Liberty savings account opened around 1.5 years ago but currently it's almost empty. No physical KYC or VKYC was done in my case while applying for this card.
