I am afraid because our main circuit mcb tripped again and again 3 times yesterday whenever I put my AC on. Today, AC technician did multiple troubleshoots which caused MCB to trip 3 times to find root cause. Will tripping mcb again and again cause fire?
Last year, I purchased second hand LG split AC (2009 model) for 14K rupees. We use stabilizer with that AC. 12 days back the wire of AC caused huge spark. Till yesterday, everything was fine after AC technician intervened. Yesterday, AC caused MCB switch to trip whenever I switched on. That happened 3 times yesterday. Isn't it too much pressure on our mcb? Does tripping mcb again and again cause any danger?
AC technician found out the root cause - it's due to weak wires. He himself caused AC to trip mcb 4 times today as an experiment to check AC root cause. Now AC is working since last 40 minutes without any tripping after he fixed the wire. He suggested us to change the wires with some strong wire soon.
I am planning to call him again on Saturday. I am afraid of facing another hazard until he comes again on Saturday. I don't want either tripping mcb or ac wire to cause fire. What if it happens while sleeping?
I don't even have enough money to buy a new AC.
