2.5L+ SBI VDC transactions, over 5 months, no reward points till now

Hi guys,
The title is self-explanatory. I'd applied for SBI VDC after reading good reviews of it here.
Also that one has to be patient to get these rewards, especially for new card holders.

It has been 5 months now that I have been using this card, 99% for SBI UNIPAY bill payments.
I've also used the card for some society payments (mygate) & once on freecharge.

The total of these transactions has crossed 2.5L, but I haven't received any points till date.
I am planning to mail membersupport@StateBankRewardz.com but I want some guidance if anyone has been through a similar situation, what was the best course of redressal.

I'm looking at the community for any guidance here.

Thanks for your time & knowledge as always.

Call customer care instead of email, ask them it's been 5 months yet I haven't received any points.

They may ask where did you make transactions. Obviously, don't tell them that you did on unipay. (Yes, I have to clarify that)

Instead, tell them you did multiple online / offline. They will take the complaint, and check with the backend team. Hope there are no multiple accounts or some CIF issues on your end.

Thanks for your input. I wont tell them Unipay, but just in case they check after my complaint wont they be able to see its Unipay?

Their own website says (point 3 in this image)
"All exclusions on PoS or ecommerce have been removed except, wallet, acc-acc"
Does CC bill payment come in "account to account"?

I've not gotten points even for my society payments (although less amount 5k)

Thanks again for your help 🙂

That's up to their backend team, you don't need to worry about it.

If you're wondering whether your transactions were eligible for points, the answer is yes, they are eligible. The issue is most likely with your account, it may not be fully mapped to SBI Rewardz yet. Btw, have you already registered on SBI Rewardz using your CIF number and other required details?

Yes, I made an account a month ago on SBI rewardz with the same CIF as my SBI account (in which my VDC is added). Is there any other check I need to ensure the mapping is correct?

Thanks again

Unfortunately, we can't do anything on our end. Best is to raise the complaint to the customer care. Btw, do it as soon as possible as they usually takes 2-3 weeks to resolve.

Thank you for your help. Just got off the call with them and they are extremely persistent to either tell them where the transactions were done online or they can't raise a complaint over call.

I told them the non unipay transactions which were of little amount and they registered complaint for only those. And when I asked what about the remaining they insisted that emailing the backend team with screenshot from customer end is the only way.

Highly disappointing customer support. 😅
