This auto bill pay is too risky. My payment also failed right 4 days before the due date. I have deleted the auto pay and will never use it. Its not worth taking the risk for missing a credit card payment and screwing up your credit history.
This month, again, something is wrong with HDFC BillPay.
IDFC and SBI bills fetched correctly, and failed. Had to pay separately by evening on my own - 3 days in advance.
I am happy for one thing. HDFC informs us about the failure by email and SMS on the same day - 4 days in advance - before the due date. Ample time to pay on our own.
I am just thinking if many other bank bill payments are failing since 1st Aug then does it relate to that new UPI guidelines that got effective since 1st August? Though I think hdfc billpay uses neft way to pay our bills

auto pay, lagane ka kya hi fayda jabb... 3/4 days pehle tak jaan aatki rahe.. main usually before 10-15 days bill settle krdeta hu.. abb iss 2.5% ke chakar mein alag tension

Same issue. Unable to redeem the reward points since 1st August. The ones that showed up under "Promotional cashback" for debit card (Is that SmartBuy)?
