How 4 hdfc card???? Heard they allowed only 3 hence I closed TN+ so that I can apply for DCP

you can, I don't think there is three card limitations.

Example? They have to, otherwise you can complain. Now with credential check-in Digilocker, it's more easy to show. Banks, airports, trains, traffic (even DL) everywhere I used, nobody ever questioned me. On airports I use DIGIYATRA as well.

It's more like TRIDEV 😆 of cards. I wanted Amex for so long, but the PIN code is not serviceable. Right now I just have an Amex network card AXIS PRIVILEGE. 😁

Bhai, literally mann ki baat.
I always wanted an Amex since loooong so got one when I knew my PIN is serviceable.
It’s really painful to know that Amex has stopped giving retention benefits but I may still continue and pay the renewal fee just to stay in the Amex Ecosystem.

Also, if you think practically, the offline spends are dimming day by day; the majority of the spends are online, OR from Rupay credit card and UPI account. So the physical card use range is very narrow.
groceries - big basket, instamart and blinkit.
clothes - Myntra
electronics- amaozon or flipkart or Apple Store- for apple products.
medicine - pharmeasy
food - zomato and Swiggy
travel - tickets are online.
repairs - Urban company
So, I don't think there is much room for offline spends, excepts jewellery.

after completing 1 year on each card I call sbi customer care requesting for card closure and connect with retention and they say they have LTF offer on my account so i convert it LTF. This happens if annual fees <=1500. Will do same for Phonepe select black card after 1 year.

phonepe is new so its hard to convert LTF now. if cashback card older then 1 year then you can try. they give fee reversal or LTF offer as per account
